Julie and Tim Henry
Meet Julie and Tim Henry – local, independent owner/operators of the Primrose School of Spring Hill and the Primrose School of North Murfreesboro. Longtime natives of Atlanta, Ga., the Henry’s relocated to Spring Hill, Tenn. during summer 2013 to open their first Primrose School. The school marks the first Primrose school in the Spring Hill community. Julie and Tim have two young children, Sophia and Carson. While seeking out education and care options after the birth of their daughter Sophia, Julie and Tim struggled to find high-quality care close to both work and home in the city. The Henry’s were familiar with Primrose, but it wasn’t until connecting with a close friend who worked in a Primrose school that they learned more about the high-quality education Primrose provides. They immediately fell in love with the school’s Balanced Learning curriculum and enrolled their daughter in Primrose School of Midtown in Atlanta in December 2010. Now, both Sophia and Carson attend school in Franklin, TN. Julie is an alumna of Emory University, where she studied nursing and worked as a registered nurse. She then changed careers and worked as an Account Supervisor at an Atlanta advertising agency prior to becoming a Franchise Owner. Tim studied dietetics at Georgia State University and was previously a professional cyclist. He still finds time to take up the sport in his spare time. Julie always wanted to own her own business and invest in a venture she could feel good about. After seeing how quickly her daughter was progressing while attending a Primrose school, she knew this business was the right fit for her family and something she wanted to offer other parents searching for high-quality early education and care. Tim’s previous volunteer experience as a little league bicycle coach allowed him to work with children and watch them grow under his leadership. Both saw Primrose as a perfect opportunity to help children grow and develop. “As two working parents, we enrolled both of our children in a Primrose school because we believed in the Primrose experience and the exclusive Balanced Learning curriculum”, said Julie. “There is nothing more important to us than ensuring our children are loved and cared for, while knowing they are receiving the best early education and care.” The Primrose School of Spring Hill opened in December of 2014 and is currently licensed under the TN Department of Education. The school holds the prestigious Cognia accreditation (previously AdvancED) and a yearly Service Excellence Assurance award. Together, the Henry’s provide an atmosphere where children can grow their Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts.
