Make the First Five Years Count

We’re more than a daycare in Colorado Springs. We know how young children learn best, which is why our Balanced Learning® approach combines plenty of purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers.

Matthew & Abigail Day

The military recently brought us to Colorado Springs and like many other families who are new to the area, we immediately began looking to find childcare for our two-year-old son. We soon discovered that the wait lists were long, and the quality of providers varied greatly. While searching for a childcare center a rather serendipitous opportunity presented itself.

We were not actively seeking to become Primrose owners; however, if we had we would not have been able to find a better fit. It was serendipitous not only due to the timing, but also due to the unique background Matt and I have. Matt is an active-duty Army officer with varied experiences in both military leadership and business, and as for Abigail, she has her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and experience in classrooms ranging from toddlers to elementary school age in both the public and private school setting. In addition to our professional careers, together we have created and grown several successful real estate related businesses, and are excited to now devote all of our experiences and energy towards providing your child, as well as our own, the best child care in Colorado Springs.

Who children become is as important as what they know is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

We are excited to meet you and your family!

See What Families Are Saying

We love Primrose! Our daughter started in the young infant class and is now in toddler. She loves going to school! I am thankful for all of her teachers along the way. I can tell she has formed special bonds with each of them.
Both my son and daughter go to Primrose School at Norman and we love it. My daughter, who is almost five, has a rich curriculum to follow everyday: recycling projects, weather reporting, and circle time to learn concepts such as sharing & fairness. During the process, the teachers pay special attention to ask her series of questions instead of simply telling her what she should do, which is super helpful to build the autonomy. Teachers are very willing to share with us her daily activities, answering our concerns, which I really appreciate! For my son who just turned 3, he has plenty of activities with an emphasis on the hand eye coordination skill. The owner is willing to talk with parents about the school philosophy, new changes and activities...directors and staff are friendly.
Our 3-year-old son has been attending Primrose School of North Colorado Springs since they opened. The current management has created a nurturing and safe environment where he can learn from the dedicated staff and from his peers. We can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff, our son absolutely LOVES his teachers! Even though he's only 3 we've seen significant improvements in problem solving skills, love for reading, and general knowledge. The lessons around caterpillars changing into butterflies was a particular favorite of his. Additionally, Primrose provides opportunities for both structured and unstructured play. We were impressed when they began offering during-the-day sports clinics (via a partnership with Soccer Shots) and our family has thoroughly enjoyed the after-school events and Parent's Nights. We've recommended Primrose to multiple friends now and consider ourselves fortunate that it is run by such outstanding management.
Primrose of North Colorado Springs has been so wonderful for both of my little ones, they absolutely thrive there and have learned so many skills and have become so independent since starting, I’m so happy this is what we chose!
