Erin Stewart and Marla Jenkins
Erin Stewart made the decision to open a Primrose in 2002 after her twin boys attended a Primrose School. She was so impressed by the level of care and education that her sons received and knew that was something she wanted to offer to other children. With her top priorities being safety and security, followed closely by the opportunity for a quality education that’s fun, Primrose was the perfect fit. She has since had a third child, a little girl, who has also graduated from Primrose School of Las Colinas. Erin knows that the school is only as strong as her teachers, which is why she values them so greatly. She encourages a team atmosphere, even sponsoring a staff soccer team. Erin and her family are committed to serving the community both through the Chamber of Commerce and through sponsorship of neighborhood programs such as The Taste of Hackberry. She is actively involved in the women’s club in her neighborhood and has served as chairperson for the Kids’ Taste of Hackberry since 2003.
Marla Jenkins began her journey at Primrose Schools in 2002. Having seen first hand how her sons thrived at Primrose Schools she pursued the leadership route and then on to becoming a business partner with Erin Stewart. She is passionate about the level of care and education that Primrose Schools has to offer. When asked why Primrose her response was “I truly believe in the quality of our Balanced Learning Curriculum for Early Education.” She also places extreme value into the entire team and getting to know each person and how they can bring something special to offer the school.
Erin and Marla strive to make Primrose School of Las Colinas the very best school for Early Education in the Las Colinas and Irving area.
