Lisa and Benjamin Adams
It was easy to see: children were not ready for first grade. This was the conclusion that former first grade teacher Lisa Adams came to each September as children arrived in her classroom, unprepared socially and academically. She knew this from experience, and from academia she holds a Masters of Education from Hamline University but the question was what could she do about it? Lisa began her quest for top quality preschool education in 2003 when she and her husband Benjamin began planning their own family. Lisa researched 60 early childhood centers in the Twin Cities area with disappointing results. Why weren’t preschools held to the same standards as elementary schools? She was looking for research-based education and quality care with an emphasis on social/emotional skills – a place where education began early. Her search was expanded -eventually nationwide. What she sought, and finally found, was Primrose Schools. The moment Lisa walked into Primrose, she knew it was different. Not only was Primrose academically accredited, just like leading elementary and secondary schools were, but the focus that Primrose put on character development and values was evident as well. These students would be prepared for elementary school and beyond. The Adamses were sold on the country’s best private preschool and decided to bring Primrose School to Eden Prairie. In December 2005, Benjamin and Lisa welcomed their first child into the world. Just like you, the Adamses want the best for their child, and after three years of searching they found it. Benjamin and Lisa warmly welcome you and your children to Primrose School of Eden Prairie.
