Tom and Priscilla Chow
Tom and Priscilla Chow are the proud owners of the Primrose School of Castle Hills. They started out as parents with their first son, Max, enrolled in the young infant classroom. They fell in love with the school’s teachers, academic philosophy, and curriculum—so much so, they purchased the school in 2004.
In their roles as both parents and owners, they focused intently on providing the very best for all the children at their school. Their philosophy is “A building doesn’t make a school, teachers do. At the heart of any school is the staff.” Properly hiring, training, and developing teachers is one of their key focuses. One of the direct results of their philosophy is consistency. That is why the average lead teacher tenure is over 6 years- an amazing number for the industry.
In 2012, the Chows received the Primrose President’s Award. This award is only given every two years to the best Primrose School in the nation. Primrose has also awarded the Primrose School of Castle Hills the designation of a Training School to train new directors and owners who enter the Primrose system.
In 2015, the Chows were honored to be asked by the Texas Childcare Licensing department to be a model school for their new state licensing reps. They were chosen because of the school’s years of consistent high scores on every unannounced visit.
The Chows are actively involved in the school and continue to look for new ways to provide the best in early childhood education.
