Victoria Fabuluje and Ayoola Akanni
We are Victoria Fabuluje and Ayoola Akanni, the proud new owners of Primrose School of Arrowhead. We are both originally from Nigeria, and we have four children together – Sophia, Precious, Myah and King Akanni. Victoria has her MBA in accounting and health system management and Ayoola has his Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity, both from Grand Canyon University. We are excited to be part of the Primrose family.
We are progressive leaders, advocators, and innovators, with an extensive combined background in healthcare, finance and education. With our experience as the founders of iCare Health Services, LLC in Arizona working with developmentally disabled children and adults, we have overseen all areas of operation including policies and procedures, financial management, service delivery and operations, claims and billing, information technology, data analytics, human resources and contracts.
As the parents of four wonderful children, we are living through learning to be parents, making tons of mistakes and creating wonderful memories as we contribute to the foundation and lay the building blocks for their lives. We believe in a special quote from Elizabeth Warren, which says that “a good education is a foundation for a better future.” Just like we build strong foundations for our homes to make them last for decades, the same approach should be followed for building a strong learning foundation for children, which will help inspire their love of learning as they grow up.
In 2017, when we had our third daughter and moved to our home, we struggled to find both a safe and educational environment that would provide the exceptional level of care we expect. That was when we first started to consider owning a childcare center. Once the opportunity surfaced, we did extensive research, visited various schools, asked many questions, attended various open houses and spoke with teachers and directors to better understand the daily life of a child in preschool settings. This was very overwhelming but the understanding that it is like what we do on a daily basis providing excellent care for the developmentally disabled children and adults in a safe, clean, fun and enriching environment gave us a great perspective.
Primrose stood out amongst all others because of the Balanced Learning® approach and the brand’s belief that who children become is as important as what they know, which aligns with our beliefs. The exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. Primrose delivers more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families. We are proud to deliver the Primrose experience to our children and families.
Welcome to the Primrose School of Arrowhead family.
